A
Message from our Chairman
On February 2nd we celebrated Junior
Achievement Groundhog Job Shadow Day with students from
Woonsocket and Newport. Over fifty students were given the
opportunity to learn about various departments at the Hyatt
Regency Newport and The Hotel Viking. Not only did these
students learn about lodging operations, they more importantly

Central Falls Students Got a Closer Look at
the Hotel Viking
Just under 20 students from Central Falls
took a tour through the Hotel
Viking and learned that it takes a large team to
successfully run a hotel. After Director of Human
Resources, Sue O'Donnell, gave the students a behind the
scenes tour of the property, she brought them into a meeting
room where they were greeted by eight department managers and
General Manager, Mark Gervais, to hear what it takes to
succeed.
