On behalf of the RI Hospitality Association and RI Hospitality Education Foundation Boards of Directors, we are pleased to announce our 2012 fundraiser; Drink Red, Wear Red! This year’s event will once again be held at the luxurious Ocean House Hotel in Watch Hill, RI and we are respectfully requesting your participation as an event sponsor, donor, or attendee.
Please review the information below to see how you can participate in Drink Red, Wear Red. The RI Hospitality Association has served as Rhode Island's industry voice for the past thirty years. We have become a well-known fighting force on the issues that affect our members, oftentimes overcoming strong, resourceful opposition. RIHA staff and members hold important public positions, which allows us the opportunity for direct dialogue with governmental officials regarding economic and social issues affecting Rhode Island's hospitality industry.
Our greatest mission is not only legislative advocacy, both on state and national levels, but also, education and training through the work of the RI Hospitality Education Foundation. However, the benefits of membership extend far beyond our lobbying efforts and education programs. We have taken the lead in developing cost-saving programs for energy, insurance, and health care to help increase profits for member businesses and we are in the forefront of service and food safety training.
Throughout the year we depend upon various fundraising campaigns in order to continue to offer these benefits and services to our members. Your participation in Drink Red, Wear Red on March 24, 2012 is extremely important to us and we promise, you will truly enjoy this party!
Sincerely,
