Newport Biodiesel provides free collection of used vegetable oil. The company uses the recycled oil to produce biodiesel, a clean burning alternative fuel. The fuel can be used in diesel engines or in oil furnaces with little or no modification necessary. Restaurants that recycle their vegetable oils for use as biodiesel will receive points towards the RI Hospitality Green Certification program.
