| Discount Parking Program at RI Convention Center |
 |

The Rhode Island Hospitality Association is partnering with the Convention Center to offer a discounted parking option. The discounts will be available to hospitality workers, and event patrons who park in the center's garage. Please contact Bob Sepe, RI Convention Center Garage Manager at 401-458-6339 to take advantage of any of the options below.
Discounted employee parking: The RICC will establish a discounted validation account with select area restaurants by providing them with pre-programmed $6 validation tickets (Chasers) for their valued employees. Each ticket will validate a single day of parking charges for employees up to a maximum of 10 hours.
Discounted employee parking sponsored by management: The RICC will establish an additional and separate discounted validation account where the employer purchases in advance a select number of $6 chaser tickets which are then distributed to their valued employees. Each ticket will validate a single day of parking charges for employees up to a maximum of 10 hours. The fundamental difference from validation program #1 is the cost of employee parking is picked up by management.
Patron Parking Validation Program: The RICC will establish a patron discounted validation account through which select area restaurants will pre-purchase validation chaser tickets at a cost of $6.00 each. The chaser ticket will provide patrons using the RICC garages with their first three hours of parking FREE OF CHARGE. Any time in excess of three hours will be charged to the parker upon exiting the garage at the posted RICC hourly parking rates.
Premium Patron Parking Validation Program: To accommodate special circumstances and patrons, RICC will establish a separate patron validation account through which select area restaurants will purchase chasers tickets at a flat $11.00 each. These pre-paid chaser tickets will provide patrons with unlimited parking up until 2:00AM. |

Matthew Gennuso is the chef and owner of Chez Pascal, a French-American
bistro on the East Side of Providence, Rhode Island. Matt and his wife,
Kristin, took over this East Side favorite in the spring of 2003. Chez
Pascal is ranked among the elite of Providence's finest restaurants and
is a favorite of this Renaissance city's. In the summer of 2009 Matt
launched Hewtin's Dogs Mobile, which focuses on a changing variety of
house made sausages, sandwiches, soups, and more. Matt's national
television credits include The Today Show, The Cooking Channels'
Food-ogrophy, HouseHunters International, & Cultivating Life where he
was a regular guest chef. |
