We understand that our members need to keep cash in the business right now.
RIHA sent requests to the League of Cities and Towns and the leaders in municipalities, asking that they extend the local tax deadlines for business.
Here is an updated list of as of 2:30pm March 20, 2020:
All municipal taxes delayed until June 1, 2020
Residential Taxes: May 15, 2020
Business Taxes: May 15, 2020
The filing deadline was in February.
They will review for the next deadline in May.
Filing deadline already passed.
They will review for the next deadline.
All penalties and fees are waived until the State of Emergency is lifted.
Quarterly Taxes: June 30, 2020
The Mayor and Council expect to make an announcement on March 20, 2020.
All non-escrowed and current taxpayer 4th quarter tax payments until June 30th without 4th quarter interest or penalty.
Quarterly Taxes: April 30, 2020
Real Estate Taxes: May 15, 2020
Personal Property Taxes: May 15, 2020
Motor Vehicle Taxes: May 15, 2020
All tax deadlines extended to June 1, 2020
