Job Description

Ten Prime Steak & Sushi is currently seeking an Executive Chef to manage all aspects of culinary operations including but not limited to menu design & execution, food quality, financial planning, inventory control and employee training. Not only does the Executive Chef provide leadership to the staff but they are also responsible for growing and developing the culture of the restaurant and providing a consistent product & experience to our guests.

Skills:
*Strive for the highest level of work ethic with meticulous attention to detail
*Oversee and manage all areas of the kitchen
*Hiring, training & supervision of staff while maintaining the highest standards including cleanliness, proper uniforms and appearance standards
*Prepare weekly schedules, labor forecasts & labor control costs
*Achieve profitability & financial results • Work with the General Manager to improve revenue and cost performance
*Ensure consistent high quality of food preparation in compliance with local, state & federal regulations
*Deliver a consistent and exceptional culinary experience to guests

Requirements:
*Bachelors or Associates degree in Culinary Arts or related field (preferred but not required)
*Minimum of 2 years experience as an Executive Chef of Sous Chef
*Manager Certified in Food Safety
*Competent in Microsoft Excel
*Team Player
