This scholarship supports students pursuing a degree in hospitality at a college or university in New England—an area David deeply loved and worked tirelessly to promote. His passion for mentorship, his belief in the power of education, and his lifelong dedication to hospitality make this fund a fitting tribute. Through this scholarship, David’s legacy lives on by helping future leaders turn their passion for service into successful careers.
Who Should Apply?
- Local Students or Adult Learners enrolled in or accepted to an accredited college or university in New England, pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree in the foodservice, lodging, or tourism industry.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Applicants must complete all sections of the application. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
- Applicants must be enrolled in, or accepted to, an accredited college or university in New England, undergraduate program pursuing an associate or bachelor degree in hospitality.
- Applicants are required to submit a statement of their plans as they relate to their educational and career objectives.
- Applicants are required to submit a written essay or video.
- Applicants must provide a letter of recommendation from a teacher or employer.
- Applications are due by November 1st.
