n partnership with the Department of Highway Safety, RI Hospitality Association is offering ServSafe Alcohol training and certification opportunities to businesses throughout Rhode Island.
Participants may choose between a free online course and exam or scheduled free in-person training sessions, providing flexible options to meet individual learning preferences and business needs.
This 2.5-hour training covers the trends, laws, and risks related to the responsible sale and service of alcohol and meets Rhode Island state requirements for alcohol certification. Successful completion of the ServSafe Alcohol program results in a certification from the National Restaurant Association that is valid for three years.
Online Course Features:
- Ability to leave and return where you left off
- Interactive self-paced training (must be completed within 30 days of assignment)
- Exam included with one certification exam attempt
- Available in both English and Spanish
In-Person Training Features:
- Instructor-led classroom training
- Opportunity to ask questions and engage with industry professionals
