FREE | Hospitality & Customer‑Facing Staff

As Rhode Island prepares for a busy summer with increased visitor activity, this FREE Human Trafficking Awareness Training helps hospitality and customer‑facing staff feel informed, prepared, and supported in their roles.

The training focuses on awareness, understanding, and appropriate response—giving employees practical knowledge they can apply in everyday workplace situations while maintaining professionalism and guest safety

Human Trafficking Awareness & Rhode Island Law

Rhode Island law now requires certain hospitality employees to complete human trafficking awareness training. This program meets that requirement and incorporates No Room for Trafficking®, an AHLA Foundation awareness initiative.

No Room for Trafficking® builds on the hospitality industry’s commitment to ending human trafficking by:

  • Increasing employee awareness
  • Helping staff identify potential indicators
  • Supporting appropriate response and reporting
  • Reinforcing the industry’s role in protecting vulnerable individuals

The focus is on awareness and education—not investigation.

Who Should Attend

  • Hotel and lodging staff
  • Front desk and guest services teams
  • Housekeeping and facilities staff
  • Food & beverage and event staff
  • Managers and supervisors
  • Retail Staff
